We've been doing back to back hockey weekend road trips every weekend from Atlanta to Nashville, and Atlanta to Tampa, for the last two months, so we got a chance in between for a quick Bahamas weekend to just rest, read, and relax.
My camera stamped the date as the previous month, lol. Not sure why and I didn't catch it
Flew first class out of Miami, which was so nice for a change, and sailed out on Norwegian Sky, which I'll only sail on Norwegian.
First day was at Great Stirrup Cay price island, which was wonderful. It's been completely redone and is totally unrecognizable really. Pretty darn wonderful. We were given VIP time over on the island so we got to go over to the sand at about 8:30a, about 2 hours before anyone else on the ship except for a couple of other couples and that was wonderful, it was so quiet and we had the total view without anyone around. Played in the water all day and then ate lunch on the island and then about 3:30 we went back to the ship and sat on the balcony while we sailed out, then went up to dinner then took it easy watching movies all evening. Very fine day.
Day two was in Nassau. We slept in, then ate breakfast and let everyone peel out for their tours, then went ashore and walked around for a couple of hours then went back to the ship and got in our bathing suits, got our kindles and itunes, and went up on deck and layed in the sun near the pool alllllll day in the quiet. We napped, read, listened to music, then went back to the room and sat on the balcony as we sailed out again.
This night, we were given VIP dinner at Cagney's Steak House so we went to dinner then to the Rock and Roll show in the Theater. Another very nice day.
And, then back to Atlanta :-(
Here's a few pictures from the weekend.
JB rocked us in the first class! It was wonderful for a change. Started the relaxing weekend off with total class!

Meet "JEFFREY". Jeffrey spent the weekend drunk off his butt and stumbling all over the place. By the end of the weekend, about 2k people all knew who Jeffrey was. Jeffrey caused all kinds of incidents to happen!
Let's go zipping along the wave, or just trip over the anchor a few times :-)
